Terms of use
The agreement between you and Ogee Labs Ltd for using Cartouche.
Last updated: 25 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Cartouche is provided by Ogee Labs Ltd, company number 17543263, registered office 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA. Contact: support@cartouche.games.
2. Using Cartouche
- You can play the day's puzzles free, with or without an account.
- If you create an account, keep your Apple or Google sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- We may change, pause or stop puzzles or features, for example to fix an error in a puzzle. We'll try to give notice of significant changes.
3. Fair play and behaviour
Please don't:
- use a display name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or infringes someone's rights;
- cheat, automate play, or tamper with the app, its results or our servers;
- harass other players, or misuse challenge links or reports.
We may change a display name, remove friends features or close an account that breaks these rules.
4. The supporter tier
- The supporter tier is a subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- New subscribers may get a free trial; the store tells you its length and when billing starts.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments, refunds and billing problems are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. This doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
5. Our content
The puzzles, maps, designs and software are owned by Ogee Labs Ltd or used under licence, including open data credited in the app. You may share your results and screenshots; please don't copy or republish the puzzles themselves.
6. Liability
We make Cartouche with care, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses.
7. Ending
You can stop using Cartouche and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, and can bring a claim in your local courts.
